Buying Advice John Deere 997

Who owns a 997?

Any experience with the newer ones with DPF? Have not heard much. Is that because there aren't many out there or there are no issues?

Finding a clean used one with 72" deck is not easy. Lots of 60" but not a lot of 72"s within a decent driving distance from Dallas, TX. Might just buy new.

Currently have a John Deere 757 with 60". Want something bigger to augment the 757 around the ranch.

I have a 997 that I bought new about 3 years ago...Before the DPF. It is a 72 inch deck. It is a beast

I went and drove a 2016 Z997R. I believe that is the route I will go. I wonder if they will make any changes for 2017.
