68 and a brief pop up shower over us right now, then 91.

Took a nice hike up to a mountain overlooking your neck of the woods, Ed. Was 15 degrees cooler up there vs. down on the highway...first hike I've taken Coco on where you have to jump from boulder to boulder along a short stretch or trail...she said swimming is much more her style.

Eric, driving a race car to cut grass looks like fun.

Thomas, thumbs up on the idea of a Manners 101 course.

Drew, looks brand new...taking it into your woods might lead to that first sinking feeling when you get your first ding or gash.

Howdy David. I was just hiking in that area today - Turk Mountain.

If you come over on my side of the hill it is often cooler with less humidity. Replied before I saw the above post. Ed

Drinking first cup of coffee. 70° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 89° with chance of thunderstorms in late afternoon. Did not cut grass going to wait until Friday when it will be cooler. Take wife to a doctor appointment. Then stay in out of the heat.
MFW, nice area.
Eric, looks like a go-kart with roll bar. I have a couple of area that machine would work good. Sometimes I forget to cut grass going downhill.
David S, great pictures.
Good Morning All.

Good morning all, 74 going to 90 with a 20% chance of thunderstorms, Had a nice little shower this morning about 5:30, guessing maybe a 1/10. Outside of shop is finished except for the shutters, they brought the wrong size and will bring the right ones soon. I am very pleased with the work they did, they took pride in their work and it shows. They work for Valley Structures the largest company building sheds in Va. A lot of the lots selling sheds just buy from them and resell. They work all over Va where the building has to be built on sight and at the shop for the delivered buildings.
Need to figure out how to get electric to it now. Hope I can drill through the raised patio/porch and go from there. It is about 18" high with block-brick walls and sounds hollow.

Eric I NEED one of them and something to do with it. :)

70 this morning and headed to 94 today.

Back to the hay field when the grass dries. Hays yielding more than it did in the spring. Just not as high of quality, but still good. Really giving problems raking and bailing. Most of it is over 3 tons per acre so it's a 2 mph ride on the baler tractor. Can't get over any ground. Hay some thinner hay coming up on another farm though. That'll help.

David. Nice trip. Enjoy.

Good morning! A warm hazy morning, 77˚ before sunrise heading to the 90s. Humid, no wind the air just sucks the energy right out of you. I am so ready for a cool crisp Norther.

Sadamo, thanks for the pics, I'm on a virtual vacation.

Eric, good looking riding mower, if they sold it on this side of the pond people would buy them even if they had no hills, just for the cool factor.

agreed, but sure better than taking my cab tractor into dense woods and knocking out some glass.
I drove it, runs fine, like new, no leaks, bottom of everything was dry. Easy steering, clutch ok in stiffness, first gear low slow enough
for rototilling, engine pretty noisy.
but gosh, no cupholders. Oh dear...

52 right now, raining. It is a soaking rain, be nice to have it rain for a few hours. We have had drought for a number of years, it will take steady rain over several months to restore some moisture to the ground... but we would also like to get some fall camping in, so maybe some rain on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with sunshine for long weekends...

Good Morning. 1045, sunny, 86F with 62% humidity. Forecast high of 90F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 67F tonight. I stayed at the camp last night and it got down to 66.8F on my little clock/thermometer. Sure felt fine.

I've been working on my pre-cleaning lady duties this morning. But she just called to say she couldn't make it today. Has a case of the shingles and didn't want to take the chance of infecting me. {which I appreciate} Now I might get outside and do something. I've had a touch of sinus trouble and a nasty cough since the weekend. The heat seems to make it better.

Nice pictures David. Enjoy your time over there. Some of my stories are set on the Ems River, and I would love to take a cruise up from Emden.

Drew, looks like a good tractor. And you don't need to be drinking and tilling anyway.

You guys have a good one,

Larro
