Lubing 422

Not all of the areas that call for lubing on my 422 have grease fittings. What is the best way to lube with out fittings?

Can you be more specific? I spray oil over the side of my engine compartment all the time and it doesn't require lubing.

I am assuming you are talking the steering cylinder connectors and that sort of stuff.... I use an off road bike chain lube. WD-40 and most spray ons tend to attract dirt and not repel...

Frank is correct... the manual tells us to lube places that have no fittings, like the pivot points where the FEL attaches to the frame. A long time ago, they had fittings, but they never updated the manual to reflect the changes. So I called Power Trac when I got my tractor back in 2001 and asked where the fittings are, and, if no fittings, how to lube. Answer: Spray the area generously with white lithium grease every 8 hours. So that's what I did.... for 15 years! It still works, so... I'll keep spraying.
