And I'll let the real farmers like Farmer do the "decrusting". Whatever that is...doesn't sound good.![]()
I always enjoy it when farmer talks of decrusting his chickens. As I may have said before, it brings back fond memories from when we first bought this house, when it was just a derelict pigsty and barn. Upstairs it had been used to keep chickens. Unfortunately it hadn't been cleaned out in a long long time. Chicken poop was well and truly encrusted on the floor, up to 3 feet in depth and all over the roof trusses. Water had also run through numerous holes in the roof and rotted away the floor timber in many places, making clearing it all out a bit of a challenge.
This was the last of the crust.
