Over the years of servicing Bobcat CTs I've found them to be a little bit of a battle. Here is what I do when replacing the filter. Valve off. Replace filter. Leave loose to allow air to escape. Crank engine to fill filter housing. Careful it may start. Tighten filter housing. valve on. restart. I usually get lucky. You may want to crack the injector lines loose to purge any remaining air. :thumbsup:Hi all,
I didn't change the fuel filter correctly and got air into the system...no starty. Any tips on bleeding the air? Thanks!

w00h00! She sputtered back to life. Thanks so much guys for the tips and info.
edit: I do have a question. I left it on 'air' and tried cranking it to fill the bowl per instructions. It didn't do that, the level stayed more or less the same. I filled it by hand by removing the bowl and replacing it. The whole reason for doing this was it losing power after running for a minute or so. Bad pump?
