Boy with all those kids you must get a great tax return!!!!!!!!!! :cool2:

baaaaaaaahhhhhhh

I only use 303 on plastic/rubber/vinyl; never on metal. The best thing for metal is something waxy but I don't want a sticky coating on the
thing, it should shine a bit. Sticky attracts dirt...I'm sure coating it in cosmoline would be greatly effective but a little hard on the steaks. ;)
I find the SS polish you get for appliances pretty nasty, exaggerates finger prints, not my favorite stuff. Just wondered if there was something better for outside.

The grill doesn't need anything on the exterior but normal cleaning, and once in a while a rub down with some 0000 brass or stainless wool, or very fine, clean brush dedicated for the job. Waxes and all that are not going to work with the heat, and are not needed. You can even use cook top cleaner, but rinse very well.

I'm back, wife fixed bean burgers and steamed veggi mix. Very good.

Farmer, yes I have used paypal for years and years. Started out with ebay and now with personal transactions. I generally spend more than I make, so I just let it sit in my account till I use it up, but you used to be able to have it direct deposit, or they would mail you a check. I remember having a debit card to my account once, that could be dangerous for me.

Today I had to rebuild a door for a customer, and being in the shop anyway and wanting to keep an eye on the new goats, I decided to work on the wagon. I got the side boards cut and sanded, then drilled and mounted them for fit. Then started on the spring seat. Hopefully I will have time this weekend to stain the wood

Well while Kev was experiencing the extended pleasures of his bean burger, I was curious enough about my new barn lites to hike down there on a very cold, clear night.
Millions of stars out, never saw that in PA due to too many houses. Not out here...everywhere I looked a million bright stars.

first light is a security day/nite light, 4000 lumens. Probably could have gone a little less bright but it's fine. The second light is a beast, 9700 lumens, switched, when I want to light up the shed at night for some purpose. Yup, that baby does the job...sure don't want to look at it either. Both lights top rated on Amazon, very heavy duty, and about a hundred bucks each. Very low wattage; the big one takes only 100 watts at max output like in the picture. 100 watts and get daytime. Remarkable.
Good thing both lights are shielded by the barn so none of the neighbors get blinded by them. With both on I ought to bring in every bug in Beaufort County.
Maybe I'll make a giant bugzapper back there too, for the Zika mosquitoes...

Good morning all. After playing outside all day yesterday I came in to the news that gravity waves really do exist. I tried to get excited and read a little more online, but the earth didn't move that much for me. With such incredibly sensitive equipment I hope they haven't been fooled by someone eating an extra portion of beans.

I heard that. The little man with the bad hair was ahead of his time.

Kev, beautiful wagon!

Drew, I think I saw the sky light up for a few minutes last night...was that you?

Larro, what are you doing up so early?

Today, once it gets light, running the tractor back in the woods to pick up first load of firewood I cut this week. Ground is frozen the way I like it.

Then carrying son to airport for New Orleans trip - too bad it's too late for Mardi Gras. Then stopping by a great coffee shop to try a new coffee they just imported and roasted.

Ordered a new printer online from the Best Buy pre-Washington's Birthday sale...our old one is about 15 years old, and takes more time with maintenance than printing, and only prints when it feels like it...which is when I'm not in a hurry. Picking it up on way home from airport.

Good morning! 52˚ heading to 74˚ - looking at Roy's -1˚ this is why I tolerate the many 100+ days in the summer.

Looking on-line there were many instances of smoke detectors going off without smoke. The problem is dust, so I just took it to the garage and blew it out with the air compressor and now it does not send false alarms.

I'm thinking of getting a iPhone and am looking at the 5s refurbished. I'm not under contract but AT&T is full retail price only. The days of getting a discount phone for going under contract are gone. Has anyone found a good place to buy a refurbished iPhone? I don't have access to any "cheap hand me downs" from relatives that need the latest iPhone.

29 degrees going to 36 today in rain, snow, sleet, the works.
I guess I'd better go buy some salt since cold weather is going to be here until early next week.
Have some errands to run, otherwise staying inside today.

going to be a pipe bursting weekend for many; might let my one barn water spigot drip a bit. Under freezing for three days
gets my attention. I'm also going to turn off my large air compressor which sits in an unheated room. It popped its breaker once starting in the cold, this time I'll think ahead.

Don, always better to use a vacuum on those electric devices first, then air blast if vacuum doesn't work. One removes the dust, one can jam it in further...but yes, over time, dust will get in the sensor and set it off. When you change your batteries, time to vacuum.

Poured first cup of coffee. 56° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 88° with a few passing clouds. Helping neighbor rebuild neighbor steps to his back door.
Txdon, a quick look shows Amazon has some of the best prices on refurbished iPhone5s.
Drew, got a link to the LED lights.
Good Morning All.

It is 50 right now, going to 72 and sunny, but windy, up to 25mph. That time of year I guess. Speaking of which it is time to start prepping the garden. We planted our potatoes last weekend as per the "Farmers Almanac ". This is a first for me, have never grown potatoes. And with in the next 3 weeks everything else we want will get planted. Hard to think about Roy's minus 1 when I am looking at the tiller.

Nice lights Drew, I am thinking of setting a light out on the horse run in but not sure what I want. You have given me ideas... Scary!!!

Don, have you looked at Ebay? I have been known to purchase a couple replacement phones when I destroy my existing. As far as iphone I can't help you, I am a android person. Google is my friend. :D Eating dinner last night I was thinking you would approve. Dr. has me on a no meat, no fat diet for 6 weeks to help the liver, and I am thinking it ain't hurting the heart any either. The other night we had sweet potatoe/ black bean/ lime tacos. And I am still losing weight.

Thanks Wngsprd, I am having fun with this wagon.

If you got 15 years out of a printer, consider yourself fortunate. Usually the inks are hard to find after about 5 years. The inks costs more than the printers almost.

Don, yesterday was one of those days in Texas that you don't mind being outside. Unfortunately, I was stuck inside all day until 6 pm.

Burnt toast can set off smoke alarms.

My trainee was almost the victim of a robbery/assault crime. Fortunately, he noticed the guy, prior to walking in the convenience store to go to the restroom, and holstered his pistol underneath his jacket. He went in, and through the swinging double doors leading to the bathrooms. He said the guy had been loitering outside while he filled up, and followed him inside. After going through the double doors, then through the next door into the men's room, he heard the double doors "slam open" behind him and he pulled his weapon. The guy comes crashing through the men's door, only to see my trainee pointing his pistol at the ground in front of him. The guy turned around and ran out so fast, he hit the swinging double doors with his head and knocked himself out. The store clerk called the cops and they took a statement as they arrested the guy. Turns out he had 6 or 7 warrants for crimes he had already committed in the computers. This happened in Conroe Texas the night of the superbowl.

Larro, what are you doing up so early?

I went to bed too early and woke up about 0230. It never fails when I have a late night at work ahead of me. I was able to get back to sleep though. I watched a few bushcrafter videos on You Tube and it rocked me to sleep.
