Can anyone help identify this engine?

I picked it up for what I think is a decent price. Just need to get it shipped over to me. I'll update this when it arrives! I'll be happy if this happens to have a kawasaki engine. I have heard really good things about them.

The Kawasaki engine is good, and so is the Subaru. I'm pretty sure the EzGo uses the Subaru, at least the ones I've seen are. They're pretty simple machines and should serve you well.

Club car uses Kawasaki . EZ GO uses a Robin engine . Both are good . You are going to enjoy that cart . Buggies Gone Wild is a great site for info and parts , accs.

Where is your air cleaner ?The intake is those louvers behind passenger feet . I see both ends but no filter .

Not sure.... I don't have the cart yet because it needs to be shipped over. If it's missing - is it something that is easy to find?

I'm worried about the engine being worn out after running with no air filter.

Unfortunately - I'm thinking that you might be right on this. The listing said that it was operational, but if it's been running without a filter - that's just a sign of what I'm up against. I was hoping for a solid golf cart..... I guess you can't win em all....
