I am only 5'10", but I know all about bumping the ignition key-my RTV went from 12 to 57 hours without being started!

Try looking at the Intimidator, it has plenty of room, I'm 6' myself.

If you don't have an intimidator dealer near you they are also rebranded as the Mahindra mPact utv

The intimidator is the same machine still being sold. The mahindra line of utv is being made by intimidator but lesser quality.

I've never seen either in person. From my research it seemed the Mahindra line was more expensive. What is the difference in quality?

I don't remember the differences now, it's been a few months ago I read the article. I have the intimidator classic DX4 diesel 2014 year model. If you google intimidator merges with mahindra I think you will come up with several articles & discussions about intimidator building utv's for mahindra but at a lesser quality.

No worries I was just curious, I had figured that the differences were basically the paint/fabric color. I just made a purchase so I'm not in the market now anyway.

There's just something about "rebranding" that bothers me.....

So,,,, if the maker can rebrand their product and sell it to another label at a profit. Then that label can sell it to me at a profit. Isn't the original maker horribly ripping me off when I buy from them??? And if there's a serious problem with the product aren't I at the mercy of the original maker for resolution? And aren't the original maker and the rebrander going to throw me back and forth between themselves for resolution to my problem??

This is an exaggeration, but it would be like buying a new Ford truck and later going to the carwash. As I wash it the label begins to peel off and I find myself in a Chevy..... :confused3:

That’s not how it works. The ones re-branding the machine aren’t going out and paying retail. They enter into an agreement with the manufacturer and both sell the machines at similar retail prices. Warranty issues fall to the one that sells the machine.
Maybe check out the Mules. They LOOK roomy to me, but I haven’t set in a newer one. I have a midsize Ranger and it’s not all that roomy either. Though I’m not tall enough for it to be an issue.

I have a Kawasaki TransMule 4010 and it's OK for legroom. I wouldn't say it's great and I'm only 5ft 11in tall.

I spent a few days that past October riding around in the front seat and back seat of a Kawasaki Pro FXT and it was HUGE. There where four of us in it at one time for about 6 hours. All rough off roading in Sonora TX, going over rocks and through cactus. It was very impressive. The side doors turned out to be a real bonus with all the cactus we drove through.
