My wife and I both picked up colds yesterday, so probably stay here all day for our anniversary, and we have my son and his girlfriend and puppy coming to visit. Plus, we get lots of quality time together during the year.

32 this morning high of 52 later today cool but not to bad. Last day of work before turkey day then off Friday. Will make our way down south this evening hopefully roads not to busy. Son is out of town with his girl friend so just she and me hasn't been that way in 26 years so something new for us. Everyone count your blessings during this holiday because no matter how small each and everyone has one

I'm up early as we have to be at hospital by 5:30 for sons tubes at 7:30. Looks like I'll have plenty of time to catch up on TBN this morning. If I don't use the waiting room for a napping station.

Good morning! 61˚ . Happy Anniversary Wngsprd!

I had to bring out the tractor to fix the bent wall of my trailer. The scrap metal people spread their jaws on their claw too wide while it was in the trailer and spread one trailer wall out 2".

I braced under the bend and pushed with the FEL (this is where HST shines) and now it's within my 1/8" tolerance and dose not look like a beer drinking trailer. I might even paint it next summer.

I was looking at the HEB website and it locked me out because it said I needed the latest security upgrade. The only update available was Apple's new operating system El Capitan.
Has anyone downloaded Apple's new OS - El Capitan? Any Issues?

Poured second cup of coffee. 37° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 57° with lots of sun. More NASCAR shop visits today if they are open. A lot depends traffic. One backup after another on all roads. :thumbdown:

It made a pleasant change this morning to see the sun again. I was in a long queue of traffic, all waiting to pass in single file through a small village, when the sun started to break free from the mist. Most of the spectacular sunrises are deep red. Not this one, it looked as pale as a chunk of butter melting in the yolk of a budget range egg. Crawling along the congested road was a perfect pace to take in the free light show as it illuminated a narrow strip of latticed vapour trails trapped between the mist below and cloud above.

Twenty minutes later, when I got to the end of the journey, I was told the person I had travelled 100 miles to see wasn't there and neither was the equipment I had come to try and help them with :confused3:. Did I care ? Nah, not on a nice morning like this.

That's first class redneck engineering, Don:thumbsup: Probably straighter than new. I've been going to paint one like it for the last several years. Rust has gotten a good start on it, and if I don't hurry up there won't be enough left to paint.:laughing:

Not here, as all my machines are older and the new OSs always seem to slow them down. Have you tried installing the latest version of web browser? Or maybe trying Opera, Chrome, or Firefox?

Good Morning! 37F @ 5:45 AM. Considerable clouds this morning. Some decrease in clouds later in the day. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 49F. Winds light and variable.

Farmer, hope your little boy gets some relief from those tubes. I don't think your wait will be very long, as the actual procedure isn't very complicated. I can still see the stainless steel try and very long needle looking thing they used on me, and remember the huge struggle I put up when they turned on the ether to knock me out. Musta taken four of 'em to hold me down, and I was only four or five at the time.

We got all of 0.02" of rain yesterday, but it took most of the day to fall. El Nino's still a no show in the north state.

Carbs done, heading to town for grocery shopping and new throttle and choke cables this morning. Mmmmm, tasty!

Happy Hump Day everyone. And it might even be Friday for a lot of you!

My Mac Book Pro is early2008 so it is the last model compatible with El Capitan OS. I'll give it a try. if you don't hear from me you will know it did not work.

Well we are back home. He's up and going. ENT doc said they drained a bunch of fluid from his ear drums. Then did the ABR test. Hearing test preliminary results show normal hearing and no permanent hearing loss. So getting fluid off the ear drums maybe his biggest help. It's going to be interesting to see how much he improves over the next few days, and weeks.

I was thinking maybe a plastic Glock; do you need such a big round? Wouldn't a little lighter gun be easier to haul around? Put a high power round in a 9mm, kind of like horse power under the hood, how much do you need? update. wow, I watched that video. All I want for Christmas is a Judge with PDX1's...

I'm not a Glock fan. I know they have a great gun and design, but I think they lack style. I love the look of stainless and it's much more durable than blueing. I'm about 270 and already carry a lot of weight on my belt and pockets. I can't walk straight if I don't have my Leatherman on my hip. So gun weight I don't believe will be a factor for me. How do I explain my love for large calibers? Ummm..... I'm not a horsepower guy. I'm a torque guy. Don't like Thorobreds, prefer Clydesdales.

I love my grandfathers .44 magnum by the way. I forget barrel length but am thinking 6-8 inches.
