I have an FB31 White with 2000 hours that runs ok but now it's getting diesel fuel in the oil big time. Rings bad?

This happened to my Massey Ferguson 35 (Perkins) this summer and I thought the worst. Turned out it was a diaphragm in the lift pump. $48. for a new one, an oil and filter change, and it was running again, a bit cleaner than before.
