Sweet. Everyone loves their land planes. I do, and I've only found about an hour to play with it...

Cool, what kind do you have? pics?

I played with mine just now for about an hour, 95 degrees and dusty as Kansas in the '30's so I quit.. might have to wait for a little rain. But from what I could tell its going to do the job well!

Land Pride GS1172. Not as heavy as some claim they need to be, but plenty plenty heavy for my SAND.

Yeah, I was thinking how alike the designs are too. Little different in the uprights, but obviously VERY similar.

I'm just glad you can't see the workbench......
To answer your question, no, almost never clean it. It is HORRIBLE.
Having a 3 yo. will keep you from an awful lot of stuff.

However, this weekend we rode the battery tractor 2x, battery 4-wheeler, gas 4-wheeler 2x, bike for 5 miles, played in the pool 2x, played on the swingset (slide, swing, monkey bars, "fort", tire swing and rock wall) at least 2x. Might have eaten a little and might have slept a little.

I did get an hour of wood splitting in each morning before it got hot. Used the tractor to help with that. I hate those big pieces.

Friend of mine has one. I've borrowed it twice. When needed, it's awesome. Just glad it's on his dime versus mine. It's parked in the weeds where I parked it a couple months ago when I was done using it. Good thing is there's nothing to go wrong with it during idle time.

Congrats on the purchase. Best thing about a land plane is any monkey can operate it. Including me.

Heh, mine is both messy and not used enough. I built it pretty big (32x60), and it's still too small. 2 trucks, 2 cars, 2 4-wheelers, log splitter, tractor, snow blower with HUGE sub-frame, land plane, back blade, auto lift.... Like everywhere in my life, if I can just get some organization, I'll probably be ok.
