Another ballast box 1000lbs

Finished off a quick and dirty ballast box today. Plywood form, rebar, and 1000lbs of concrete Quickrete. Used a 3pth tow bar for lift pins and welded up some angle iron I had laying around for the top link.
4inch PVC with a drain hole in the bottom for long handled tools. 2" square tube hitch receiver.
I also used a plastic chainsaw bar cover for a scabbard form. Then I threw together a box on top to hold stuff.

And when you lower the 3pth you know the tractor will stay where you leave it....The saw scabbard is a great idea as well

Yes, tires loaded with calcium. But when using my tree puller or my freaking heavy, 900lbs grapple, I need all that weight! I also have a 600lbs box but that wasn't enough.

That is very nice I like the box on top too. The saw scabbard is genius so that give me more ideas....
