I don't know what you think you are seeing, but I see a strong resemblance to these:

I wasn't going to mention this but I put some pallets down by the road a couple days ago. I often set free stuff out. Anyway, the next morning they were gone and I asked the wife what happened and she said "Well, I guess they walked off last night".

Hmmm, I'm thinking they got to her. She knows nothing of this thread but was spot on. Maybe it's time for a game camera.

They've gone feral, Mate. There's no telling what kind of mustang/brumby hybrid of pallet will result.

They did not like being used as beast of burden. Definitely an intelligence at work.

Here's a follow up on this. I went to pick up some bagged fertilizer and the guy at the desk said--and get this--"we just went ahead on our own and put things on pallets for you". Hmmm...two pallets just walk off and then two more just show up back at the point of origin. Kind of a Bates Motel for pallets. You can check in but can never leave.

A very good example of a well balanced load + a well maintained float (trailer)! It was still travelling, straight and no sparks from the tongue.

That being said, is this documented proof of 'pallets on the move'?
