That's good advice no doubt. However, I believe you conveniently skipped over the "sacrificial" aspect of the anode.
A truly sacrificial anode really ought to be bronzed, like baby shoes years ago, and then mounted atop the henge to be used for all eternity as a star-pointing gnomon.
If you really want to do that, with your anode, go ahead. I just wouldn't recommend it.
