Pallets in fields

An infinity pool 200 meters above the ground; it needs a glass bottom to complete the effect. Not sure I could get in something like that.
It is a bit of a thrill...

BTW, since no one else filed a claim for the Scientific Grade X-ray Vision instrument, I sent it to you per your request.

We expect great and comely research results! :)

Thank you very much Dave! I fully realise the ITAR implications and will hopefully pick it up when I'm next in town to grab my mail. As a note, Dragoneggs was next in the queue however I can't remember when he's returning from SEA... there's a lot of electronics available there, as long as he recalls the difference in voltages between here and there (220V 50Hz vs. 115V 60Hz). Which jogs my memory that I'll need to ensure that I have the proper power adapter for recharging the Glasses as I don't want to let any of the 'magic smoke' out of the device.

Ta, Mate.

Gentlemen. James' whimsical comment on another thread about "pallet monsters" has got me pondering.

Not for one moment do I believe in a mythical NJ Creature with a perchance for pallets :scratchchin: however, the pallet erections could be some form of sacrificial anode utilised only during the NA cold weather months.

Please do care for the glasses. I don't want to have to make up some story to tell Steve upon his return as to how and what happened to the glasses should the magic smoke escape. Steve rarely believes my stories.

I should warn you about the sensitivity adjustments. Being you are in your summer season where less cloaking is common, using high penetration mode may result in eye damage.

Many a North American anode has gone to next to nothing in cold weather.

Wag... thanks for remembering my position in the queue! I will also take much care with the instrument. I return on Feb 27. It will be interesting to reacquaint with my pallet erection at home.

Thinking about sacrificial anodes led me to sacrificial altars, and then on to henges. No, I cannot explain that. The mind is mysterious.

The pallets could be a crude attempt at laying out a henge, or a precursor to building a more substantial henge. Ancient Druids may be associated with famous henges, such as Stone Henge.

The Druids are also well acquainted with ley lines: Pilgrimage, Sacred Sites & Ley Lines in Druidry | Order of Bards and Druids
Every religious and spiritual tradition has its places of pilgrimage - sacred sites that are either natural landscape features of great beauty or structures built for devotion. And the routes to these places can also hold great significance. Many in the Druid community believe these routes are related to ley-lines - the old tracks created by our ancestors.

The pallets could be used as training objects for a modern-day Druid group.
