TSO, bad joke from the peanut gallery? (House in pics looks uh familiar, so...)

Apologies that respect felt isn't shown by cheesy wise-crack. Admire your work, posts, and impressed that you get so much done without breaking more or bigger stuff. (I could show you a few things ...)

btw, broke that hitch pin tab on the BB again and might should have asked you weld it up for me and get it right for once. (tried my hand again, doubt if I'll catch up) Only broke that stump bucket (my 'default' now except for snow removal or moving big piles) when a poor factory weld broke out. My welding there is 'so far, so good' & if i can bust it again I'll show the damage/repair here. :tractor: tog

Don't have many pics of the old Erie dragline (sold 5 yrs ago), esp when the boom-hoist spool didn't stop and 35' of it went 'over the top'. (explains the crinkled cab pillars when I bought it) Could have made a great video from the cab of nearly having a 1/2 yd drag bucket & bridle for lunch  and more than once. :mur:

Got the o'sized 'heavy lift' FEL (Allied 495) working on the big Deere. With BIG cyls & extra front o'hang (not 'S' model for short wheelbase) I'm set to test/break a front 2WD spindle. (Just give me a chance ...)

Hey, not to worry... I figured you were kidding around, but the joke went over my head. I'd have only put one "?" in my response, but apparently there is a 5 character minimum for responses. So, the "5 ?'s" may have seemed excessive, but it wouldn't let me put any less LOL.

Regarding welding, I've gotten alot of practice in since last time and my welds are getting real nice... Bring that back sometime and we'll get it all fixed up.

TSO I saw you're welding progress a tractor of so ago, when you built that 'cab', and was duly impressed by the caliber of your fab work.

Managed a small 'oopsie' already today. Was doing some of this:

... and managed to acquire this:

(Wasn't that blade of grass that did it ..)

... because in 15 yrs of driving trucks, tractors, T5C, and the golf cart over it on the 2-track I never noticed this:

(little 'oops')
Guess I'm a tire repair away from that 'big break' I predicted, but give me time.

I ducked, the ROPS didn't.

That reminds me of an oops with the cedar tree cutter that the ROPS saved me from a bump on the head.

Couldn't drive out from under it. When the tractor moved forward or reverse the tree moved with it.

This is what happens when you tie up the discharge deflector on your mower deck to keep it from getting clogged when cutting high grass, but there's an unseen landscaping rock in that made its way into that high grass.

I'll add a pic later.
Driving up the driveway in 4th gear, High range, turned at the end of the driveway to run down next to the ditch to a field. FEL is longer than I thought. Hit a telephone pole with the bucket. Stopped the tractor RIGHT NOW! lol
Bucket is still bent.

Awesome deer blind. :D

Yep, didn't think of that. :D

But I needed the tractor, so I got the loader and picked it off.

Earlier I mentioned writing a burning permit for a person in our township and a few hours later a person from the forestry department dropped by to get a copy of the permit because he accidentally burned his garage. I forgot I had a picture on my iPad from his granddaughter's Facebook post. The building in the foreground is the sauna and the forestry department saved it.

Good thing somebody thought to roll the propane bottle away.

I used to have a gravely zero turn mower with no rops and I mowed my place dozens of times with it. Bought a new larger Deere zero turn that had a rops. Didn't think much about it and went to mowing like I always do. Caught the rops on a fairly large low hanging branch on a pecan tree and dang near flipped over. It spun me around and hit my head and shoulder on another branch. Scared the crap out of me because for a few seconds I couldn't figure out what happened. Just ended up with a bump and some scratches.
