32F with a few snowflakes in the air. A little snow might be a good thing if it bonds to the ice on the driveway, otherwise I'll need to get out the sand and salt if the drizzle ever stops.

Shower looks nice Drew. My threshold is done like yours, but there is no door. Sometimes I wish I had sprung for the bullnose tiles to give it a more finished edge. Sharon wishes that all the time. :laughing:

Coffee has been poured. 42° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 72° with clear skies all day. Today is wife's birthday. Need to fix breakfast, take her out to lunch and dinner. Oh and not traveling to our final destination today. Should be a good day for both of us.
Those in the bad weather area's be careful.
Drew, windows can be a pain. Hope they get them properly installed this time. Shower looks good.

26.9F and partly cloudy @ 02:50 ...

Woke up around 01:00 ... went down and checked the fire and the fuel was way down and had a nice bed of coals ... but it was still chewing a 10+" ash log I stuffed in there yesterday around 14:00 ... threw another 4" log on it to keep it cookin' until Cupcake wakes up.

Went down and picked up steel yesterday ... ended up going with a sheet of 10 gauge, 4' x 10' ... managed to bang up my knee pretty good helping them load it in the van. It was a lot heavier than it looked (225 lbs) and being that big was kinda awkward. I'll cut 3' off, full width, before I attempt to remove it from the van.

Also got my old Schrader-Bellows air tool oiler working again ... but managed to pooch the o-ring on the adjustment screw in the fix. Picked up one at the hardware that should work. We'll see ...

Supposedly the new gas valve will be in this morning ... but no definite time as to when they are going to install it.

Time to brew the second cup and head up to the shop.

Plow the driveway yesterday afternoon,6"+ heavy wet snow,once I got place clean out L2800 in 4WD w/ 7 1/2" plow no chains did outstanding job Mrs. made comment "Expecting airplane to land" snow banks are push way back and wait for spring melting to start.
Got one side of house roof clean this morning,do the other half roof after work tonight...not looking forward an hour plus pulling heavy wet snow.

26 this morning and headed to 47 today. First morning of frost in a while. I know you guys up north have been getting hammered pretty good but it's December and the ground doesn't even freeze regular.

Glad y'all got in touch with mostly gas. Guess I missed the obed incident also.

Did get some of the ledgers put up on the building yesterday. What a job to get 2x12x16's 10 feet into the air by yourself. Off to a local farm retirement auction today and hope I have help coming out tomorrow.

I am usually working by myself, so I have got into the habit of using nails or screws as helpers, put a big one at one end, just below where the board is going to be fastened, and rest the board on that while I nail the other end. Or put in slave blocks, short pieces of 2x4 in as locators. I am very reluctant to ask my wife for help on these things, as she seems to get hurt too easy.....not a happy result.
