Murph nice install there. Looks like you've worked with copper before. It's all PVC in my area. Why copper?

Thanks, I was a machine builder for VanDorn. Made lots of pipe. I used copper cause 1. that's what was there. 2. that's what I know.

16F. I don't think it made above 20F today although it was very sunny until about 3 pm.

Messy weather coming tonight. Supposed to reach 40F tomorrow. I'll be out scooping slush after the rain ends and before it freezes up. Timing is everything ya know. :laughing:

46 degrees in fog, going up to 67 today.
my fireman neighbor came over with his nice JD and trailer and in half a day had my "Carolina garage" dismantled and taken next door to his house. I did not want to look at that thing in my front lawn and he was desperate for storage.

Pretty sore this morning, going to soak in a hot shower and then the hot tub and see if that helps. All I want to do is go out and plant about 150 remaining bulbs but that will have to wait. Instead, it's xmas tree light bulb testing and maybe get a few strings up on the front porch.

being able to move back into my kitchen this morning; what a relief. New tile floor is hard on the feet but looks nice.

and all the turtles are lined up paying their respects. Going two by two, nice mix of Christian themes....

30F mid 40's for high.
2"fallen snow last night top off w/rain,limbs and branches are bending down highway dept. truck already made couple passes plowing sanding salting,looks like s l o w ride to work.

Beautiful tile floor Drew and love the turtles just like the Maji on their trip to see the baby Jesus.

36 degrees this morning pretty much the same as yesterday very foggy though and high in 50s later today but still battling the clouds. No rain today or tomorrow but percentages creep back up on Friday just in time for weekend.

Really hope your neck gets better soon Drew!
Weather wise still looks like after 10th of month or so winter begins with sutained cold and frozen precipation of some type to surely follow

40 and drizzle heading to 58 and sun.

Today is my wife's turn to host weekly Yoga with the lady friends, so I'm heading out early for a couple of hours at the gym, and then looking for a small washer that I must have lost from my paint sprayer when washing it out. Half the size of a dime, but I'll bet the gun tip won't work without it.

Drew, very nice looking job on the tile, and cute terrapin use for your Nativity.

Coffee just finished brewing. 49° with some light fog this morning. Heading to 66° with a light mist in the morning and clouds all day. Helped txdon clear one if his fence lines yesterday. Still have a distance to go to finish that line. Not sure what a mist means in TX. May cut in to project time.

Supposedly it is foggy and 40, too dark to see... warmed up overnight as it was 34 or less last evening.

Monday afternoon I rode my Harley in 68+ degrees... Go figure.

I need to exercise & go get my girls for visitation. I have a job open house tonight I will attend & still awaiting the "news" I'm waiting for...

TXDon - Thank you for the Bacon wine lesson, I will keep my nose open!

Drew - I think a fireplace in the kitchen would be cool (or should I say Warm? Wonderful?, Hmmm...).

Buppies - I need you to warn me about a week in advance of when I need to attach the snow-plow to my lil red truck "Rusty"...

Yes, it was a slow ride....89 south (from Bethel) was treacherous. 91 south to Ascutney wasn't too bad as long as one maintained a reasonable speed (which a tractor-trailer who passed me wasn't). As of 0615, 91 south of the Ascutney exit was closed...probably that tractor-trailer.

24F and about 3" of crystal-ly snow that didn't stick to the trees. No sleet or rain yet here but it's on the radar. Definitely a morning to take it slow on the roads.

We use to have 9 Vandorn injection machines in our plant, they were older ones from the 80s. Last 1 was removed about 10 yrs ago, we only have Cinci & Engel machine now. Had been to Strongville for training some 20 yrs. ago.

37 this morning and headed to 48 today. Partly cloudy and no rain. Well that was also the forecast for yesterday. Turned out to stay cloudy and drizzle all day. So we'll see. Oh what to get into today. May just be a wait n see what weather does day.

Thanks guys. Bit of a struggle every which way but life is what we make of it.
Just need to compartmentalize certain problems and go on with one's life.
I sat down this morning with my cup of coffee looking out back and all was well.
The bluebirds were waking up and so was I.

Think I might go for some blueberry pancakes at the Waffle House or whatever it's called. Noisy place but good hot food that comes right out.
