The fellow paid for parts. I swallowed the labor since it was my fault for loaning the tractor out. Mechanically the tractor was sound, but the loader arms had chains wrapped around them secured to the front bucket welded brackets. Bent the side of the loader bucket, and bent the bucket brackets. Hood had a 4 inch dent right over the front reinforcement, both headlight lenses gouged. One tire was cut. Left inner tire rod end boot smashed. A clean hole punched in the grille. The guy tried to move a metal scrap pile with the tractor. 753 dollars worth of damages. All repairs done before the trade, but it just wasn't the same anymore. 150 bucks in parts the rest labor.
