Hi Kioti lovers. Do any of you have a front mounted snowblower on your Kioti CK series. I need to know. Do you find it difficult to attach? I mean do you do it in 2 pieces or one. Last year I took mine off and did it in one whole piece and had a heck of a time taking it off the tractor. I realized after that I should of taken the blower off first then the quick attach. Am I right or did I do it wrong. This year I had the dealer come out and put it on but I was not home when they came and now it is mounted on again Jeez. I wanted to be there to see how they did it lol. Any input on this would help me a lot cause I do things alone. Any suggestions
Thanks
Gilles

I guess there aren't too many Kioti owners with front mount blowers here.

K man, can the sub frame stay on with the loader still mounted? If so, why remove it? lt190b

I just found this thread. Yes, I have a front mount on my CK27. IF you leave the subframe on, then you will only have about 3" of ground clearance. I take mine off in the spring in 3 pieces. Blower first, then front part with the tranny and then the frame/driveshaft mount. In fall, I get a local shop to mount everything except the blower itself. [I mount that].
The local shop has a floor jack and that makes thing way easier.

Thanks for responding to it190b as I was about to say the same lol. Now you got me confused 3 pieces. Mine only has the 2
1 the blower
2 subframe.

If you could post pics of your unit that would give me a better idea. I tried posting but pics of mine but the site won't let me for some reason lol
Thanks again
Gilles

Your pics are too big. That is why the site wont let you upload them.

The blower is 1 piece.
The part with the gearbox attached with the 4 bolts that attach it to the front sides of the frame rails is the 2nd piece and the driveshaft and hanger bearing are the third piece.

Ok, I went out and looked at it and you are right 3 piece but you really don't have to take off the gearbox one. I was told to take the blower off first make sure to drop the leg, disconnect the short drive shaft, unhook hydraulic hoses from blower and take 2 pins out. Then back up and put apiece of 2x4 under the undercarriage and disconnect long driveshaft take out 1 pin at the front of quick attach and one at the back and drop the whole attach onto the 2x4, unhook hydraulic from tractor back out and it is done. I do have an idea how to do it but I am sure it is a 2 man operation.
Thanks

The second man needs to have a strong back. That thing is heavy, at least for me it is heavy. (68 y/old)

I hear you  I'm 63, still not a young pup either. My lungs are not as good as they use too especially in the cold or heat. The dampness or humidity is worst on me.

Thanks

Too bad you can't move to Alberta. NO dampness there. Or move Albertas' dry air to Ottawa.

I lived in Calgary back in 1980-85 when I was working in the construction and loved it there. Recession forced me back to Ontario. I would go back there but because of the Tar Sands in Northern Alberta has basically polluted the water ways from Fort McMurray all the way down the Bow river to Calgary. Alberta has changed a lot in the last 30 years it the most polluted province in Canada believe it or not. Thanks to the oil industry. Safer here in Ontario just have to put up with the humidity etc. Dryer air would be great to have for me.
Thanks

And me too. I was out west in the '70's in oilfield service (hauling dry bulk cement), lived in Medicine Hat.
I bought a house 22 years ago here and now the Kioti, I won't ever go back to AB to live. I go slow and deal with the humidity. Air conditioning helps in both the big truck and my heep. No a/c at the house, though.

I hear you man. Air in the car and the truck. No air in my house but I do have a HRV ( heat recovery ventilator) which controls the humidity in the house and outside. Meaning when the house is dry it will bring humidity and take it out when there is too much. Good investment for my lungs lol. My house is a Century Log Home all cedar walls which keeps the heat in the house pretty consistent in the winter and cool in the summer. I heat with a pellet stove which is great no more lugging wood etc in the house. This time of the year I go through 1 bag ( 40lb) in 24 hours. This will go up to 1 1/2 - 2 bags when we hit the - 25-30 C. I also love my Kioti

Can some of you guys post a pic of what the Blower sub-frame looks like. Either on or off the tractor, thanks. I had a front mount Blower on an old Kubota once, it was a real pain to install / uninstall each year.

Any idea on how to download pics on this forum?

/ Front mount Kioti snow blower #16
K Man it's Easy, above the reply panel you'll see Font, Size and a bunch of other symbols. Click on the one that says "Insert Image". go to your picture library on your computer and click the photo you want to attach. Upload the photo, just that easy. The image size can't be to big, I forget the limit, but I've had no problem with I Phone high rez photos. Hope this helps.

I have tried that. Once I find the pic on my pc I hit it and it goes into that box but then I do not see any other buttons to push to get it into the reply box. Am I doing something wrong?

I have no problem finding the pic and downloading it but once I gets in the box that is a far as it goes. The pic is only 3.4 mb.So it is the same size as my avatar on the left of the posts.
I think the only way that you will get any pics is if I e-mail them to you.

Here is a pic of the sub frame. The black part is what goes under the tractor. You will see at the front there is a pin and another one but is just under the hydraulic lines. You drive the tractor over the sub frame where there is only 2 inch gap, connect drive shaft and you lift the back up an put the pin and do the same on the front. Then you connect the hydraulics and drive forward and attach to blower orange. With the joy stick you can raise the cylinder up or down and install 2 pins on the blower.
