Don't let that stop you (the 60 miles) ... There aren't many problems to be had with LS tractors. And you can order (and have shipped) the things you need for maintenance.

You could call Ranmar Tractor in Pulaski at 315-298-5109 or CarrollEquipment in Weedsport / Sennett at 1-800-548-2558 and ask if they have or can get what you are looking for. They both are a lot closer to you than Rochester. I don't remember seeing any 7040's there when I bought my XR3037HC last week but that doesn't mean they don't have or can't get them. If you call Carroll ask for Scotte or Vic. Tell them George from Central Square referred you.

So how do you like the tractor after two months? Have you had any problems with it?

Very well so far. Only have 18 hrs. on it but more seat time is coming. No problems with mine yet. Another member who just bought the same model has had some problems with his. At this point I've spent more time learning the tractor and adding things to the tractor than seat time.
