Good morning!!!!

Dark and gloomy his morning. My mood seems to reflect this as well... Harumpf.

I'm going to do my exercise bit, eat a couple eggs and go outside regardless of the gloomy weather.

I wish I could channel rswayn and get stuff done like he is, but such is life...

I found some locktite in a tool box, so I will fix my stump grinder and go to work on my slash clearing/bonfire pile building...

This is some of the oily/greasy stuff that needs cleaned and put away ... but it ain't all of it.

The black plastic jerry cans in the first photo were used to hold/store used motor oil ... the caps got left off of 'em (very bad idea) ...

There's a dead mouse in one of them (at least one dead mouse) ... he's been in there for 15 or 20 years that I know of ...

What do ya do with something like that ?

Somehow I suspect the trash company would frown on me putting it out with the "recyclables" ... :laughing:

Sounds to me like you're doing the appropriate thing ... and channeling MossFlowerWoods ...

I doubt that it's any consolation, but I wish I hadn't been so stupid to let things get so far out of hand that I'm now compelled to be doing what I'm doing ... rather than working outside like you are planning to ...

I cleaned it at night in the shop ... which is air conditioned ...

(I have the t'stat set on 70 ... )

We're in the dog days here. Ho', mighty ho' lately. A foul kind of heat too. Won't be long I'll be longing for some warmth. Me old bones don't like the cold.

Had a good morning. Dropped sis off at the hospital, her SO met me there, and she is in for some intensive outpatient theraphy. In patient is not covered by her insurance, so that isn't in the cards for now. She was much better, happier, than she has been in quite awhile. I reeally appreciate the support here guys.

You have about an hour or 2 of morning to get stuff done outside and then the sweat starts pouring. whew.

I worked until 12:30-weed eated around some trees and in the garden. That led to cleaning out two of the raised beds. Since those plants were gone, thought I would go ahead and till some. That led to hauling 8 wheelbarrows of compost from the barn to the garden. Of course, since I put the compost in the beds, that needed to be worked in with the rake and tiller. Whew. Once that was done, and since I was already hot, thought I would jump on the bike for a short ride. Showered up about 1:45, then off to the market. It's hot out there.

Decided to mow the back yard (fenced in area) since the grass grew pretty quickly (due to the rain we've been having)...then figured, might as well mow the front area too...then figured might as well mow the sides too. Got the front and one side done and got very low on fuel (gasoline)...that last area will have to wait until Sunday (unless I decide to mow the field instead...then it'll be Monday or Tuesday). Now, if my zero turn was a diesel...well, I'd have continued mowing (since I have more diesel fuel on hand)!
All this freakin' mowing is cutting in to my Beer time!
