What position to leave loader and rear blade when parked

Seems I remember that hydraulics should be left with a load on them, meaning bucket left up in the air and not resting on the ground. What about the rear 3 point attachments? I typically leave my rear blade on all the time. So, does it matter? I have been leaving the bucket and rear blade resting on the concrete in my garage. But I'm not sure that's the best practice. Thoughts? I have a 2013 JD 3032 E with the 305 Loader and 6' rear blade.

I leave mine resting in a lowered position.

Left down is the safest position especially if children have access.

Thanks guys, I agree with the safety issue, didn't even think of that. No children around but a few stupid adults come by now and then. I will continue to do what I have been doing and leave them down.

I usually leave both loader and 3PH all the way down, and relieve hydro pressure after shutting off the engine. This way I can check my hydro level before using the tractor the next time. According to my dealer, all implements need to be resting to get an accurate measurement of the hydro oil.

I've never heard that hydraulics should be left with a load on them, but I've never heard that it harms anything either.

Bobcat owner's manual states the FEL and the backblade attachments should be lowered all the way to the ground.
Turn off the engine.
Then recycle the FEL levers & 3pt to release all pressure on the hydraulics.

^ That's what I do. Be kind to your seals and flex lines and they will thank you by lasting a little longer.
Also, an unused, energized, hydraulic circuit left unattended is a potential trip to the ER waiting to happen.
Hydraulic accumulators in a circuit usually require some sort of bleed down provision to avoid just this kind of situation.

I store inside. I level the bucket so the cutting edge sets on the floor. If I curled it up, I would hit an ankle on the cutting edge, (accident prone I guess)

I was an equipment operator instructor for the state highway department. If you got out of any piece of equipment without any/all implements on the ground, you were written up.

Yep, I lower my loader down and the blade as well. I put the loader in float, and shut off the engine and then cycle through the 4 loader positions to take all the strain off the bucket and arm cylinders. Blade on the ground.

I live on a hill. Lowering all implements not only safeguards against falling hazards, but also extra parking brakes.
