48*F & cloudy. My bones are weary, I've been re-doing a dry stacked rock wall.

If I attempted that, it would look like a pile of rocks, not a wall. Enjoy.

49 right now, high of 76 predicted. It was an outstanding day yesterday, weather-wise. Not quite as nice today and the rain moves in tonight for several days.

I replaced a worn out dual flood lamp fixture on one of my outbuilding with a Ledwholesalers 55 Watt LED Waterpoof Outdoor Security Floodlight (Amazon.com: Ledwholesalers 55 Watt LED Waterpoof Outdoor Security Floodlight 85-264 Volt Ac Warm White, 3702ww: Home Improvement). It's incredibly bright and lights up from the outbuilding to the house. If it lasts as long as the specs callout (45000 hours), it'd be a heck of a deal. If you do need an outdoor lamp, you might want to consider this one.

David, nice generator. Does it have auto start? What happened to the one it replaced?

60 degrees in Eastern PA, going up to 80 with heavy fog out and heavy rain on the way, with a flash flood watch for tomorrow morning.
Today is the day to get things done outside for sure, though it might as well be raining it's so wet out. I have the rest of the motorhome to unload, did all I can yesterday until I gave up, took a second shower(boy that home shower feels good...) and collapsed. Back at it today, and while the rain comes thundering down tomorrow, I'll clean the inside of it. Then next Monday it goes to the dealer, who will fix everything that is the matter with it, and will sell it. Hence I have to "get it ready." And tomorrow morning I sit down with the rv sales manager and try to work out a nice scenario with him, including selling me a higher end fifth wheel when the motorhome is sold. Of course his first reaction was "oh, let's get that ordered now". Now slow down son...we sell one, then we buy one. Isn't going to happen any other way. Boy they hate that...visions of four figure commissions floating in their wallets. When they get a fish on the line, they know only one technique, pull hard to set the fish....

We bought this style and model motorhome because quite frankly there wasn't much left on the lot in late July. And time was of the essence.
Now I have it by myself, have had a nice thread going on traveling with it, it broke down one too many times, and I will take my last ride in it on Monday.
Next Spring, maybe earlier...I'm going to buy my retirement farm and if I buy only land, a nice fifth wheel to put on the property while the house gets built might be seriously nice thing to have. The barn/Morton building goes up first, I'm paying more storage money than I want to admit taking good care of my machinery now, it needs to get to its home. Like me.

This summer I will mow the fields at my friend's farm one more time, but since the tractor is now sitting outside, which I don't like, after they finished off the storage building I was using and put garage doors on it, (cab top won't clear garage door motors) my mow for storage deal is now over. All things in good time, too much else going on in my life to do much else at the moment.

David/Sodamo, nice diesel unit. Why not LP? isn't diesel more expensive?
I looked at the website, they charge almost five grand more for the Kubota engine with everything else the same.
That really surprised me, about double the upcharge I expected from one diesel to another.

Now if you really wanted a big gen...somebody is/has converted a bunch of left over/reman'd Detroit Diesel two stroke diesels
into stand by gens. They have advertised pretty widely, I think I even saw some show up in the Harbor Freight flier, which was weird.
Well, the bigger the unit, usually the easier to get at things you need to service, or inspect. Anytime anything significant is worked on usually the whole cover just comes off, like the one did on my boat, a 15kw diesel. Don't think that thing will wear out on you David, or I hope not! May it start up and run nicely.
Boy, how about a YouTube/TBN start up video? Lots of nice start up smoke as things burn off...
