I am going to order me a 6 footer as well. Got a quote a couple of months ago of $339 + $43.95 shipping to TN. Does that sound about right?

Would this replace a ratchet rake or do they each do totally different things?

Do they work on buckets with a bolt on edge?

Thinking about gettin one.

Pretty much different things. Piranha would have to be vertical to rake. It's more for digging and cutting.

Since Piranha attaches with 'hooks' that go over the bucket lip, it will USUALLY not mind bolt on edges. It attaches using bolts through the sides of the bucket.

Yep that's sounds real close to mine. I think my shipping was a few dollars cheaper.

I think it will partially replace a RR. I have one too so I will let you know.

If the mounting tabs don't interfere with the bolts for the edge it should work. But then again it's basically a bolt on edge so I see no reason to have both on at the same time.

I ordered a 58" tooth bar from Iowa Farm Equip to go on one of my 5' buckets ( bolts inside ). Ordered on Friday, got it FEDEX on following Tuesday. $350 including shipping. Bolted it up today, very study looking.

Is it one with removable teeth? I've used something similar on bobcat buckets. They really dig! Great with rock. Have fun!

Looks great. Mine is sitting at my house waiting for me to get back home. I can't wait to get it installed and try it out.

BE CAREFUL with that thing, they are very SHARP! I make sure that my bucket is always positioned with the tooth bar flat on the ground/garage floor. I would hate to nail my ankle or shin on that thing....it would definitely leave a mark.

I'll be wary of the edges. When it was in the box I lifted it up on my shoulder... It happened to be tooth down... Lol! Left a mark on my shoulder from the teeth pushing against the cardboard! This thing is gonna cut through dirt like a knife through butter! (0:
