I have a g3033 with the LL3102 fel. The bucket level indicator seems to be a little off, is there a way to adjust it. Tried loosening the bolts holding the rod and the sleeve , but neither one seemed to move.Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks for the replies. I have tried to adjust the sleeve and the rod with no luck, mine does not have the v-notch, its just a straight rod. I will look at it alittle closer today when I have more time to play with it. Thanks again.
On my 3039, the leveling rod is a two piece action... the inner rod is attached to the bucket and moves inside a sleeve as the bucket tilts... the outer sleeve is the part that is adjustable.. it is clamped at a stabilizing point and is adjusted by loosening the locking bolt, sliding the sleeve up or down, then re-locking the bolt.. hope this works for you.
Guesseral - when the end of the rod is 'flush' with the end of the tube, the bucket is level.
azranger, that may be another downfall to the G series. I know the R series there is essentilaly a 'set screw' for the outer tube, allowing you to move it as needed.
Side note....
I am working on an electronic setup that would be universal to all tractors indicating bucket level to ground. If all goes as planned, you will also be able to tell the angle the tractor is on, and even optionally angles of 3pt implements....
Stay tuned! I will announce more in the LS forum first as we progress....
Ok I'll be dumb and ask. How does the rod tell you when the bucket is level with the ground? What am I missing?
Ok if the end is flush at level set the bucket level measure the distance it is down inside and cut off the end of the tube.
