What brand rear snow blower do you have on your BX? Is it 54"?
Thanks

bellweather - I bought a Hardy Lynx. It's a 52" cut, 25" height, 21" fan diameter. It has a very simple design, but seems pretty durable. This is the 3rd winter and I'm still very happy with it. A couple of modifications I made are some shoes to keep it from digging into soft ground and I put a turn-buckle on the chute deflector to provide more adjustment.

I had looked at Bradco, FarmKing, Buhler, Meteor, and Kubota brand blowers. Prices ranged from $2000 to $2500, after shipping. I went with the Hardy because my local equipment dealer carries them, making it the most convenient.

I don't have a blower, just the fel and 5 foot blade as mentioned earlier. A blower would have been good for this round. Too heavy for the blade to do much good. 9 inches started off quite heavy and wet, but then packed in by 35 mph winds over night. This took me about 3 hours.

I missed the storm on Thursday, I was in Miami. Normally my ATV and snowblower work just fine, but 10" of snow and 40MPH winds made me pull out my bx to move the frozen drifts. Chains would have been real handy, the blizzard started out as rain, so it is ice underneath

We got about 8" of heavy snow this time, the FEL and box blade were the perfect combination. I used more than a tank of fuel this week.

This took me about 3 hours.

There were supposed to be 4 pics attached to that. Phone didn't bother for some reason.

Vanb, where are you? The Thursday storm really nailed SE Minnesota. The TBN android app doesn't show locations.

Hello, I'm in Prior Lake. My neighbors tried to help while I was gone. Problem was, they plowed the snow on the NW side of my drive, so after all the wind I had 4'-5' drifts covering my driveway.

I can move 20'' with the rear blade on the BX.
