It looks like the moved the fuel tank to the rear on the open station tractor. If that is correct, this may be enough of a reason to trade.

The open station tractor on display was a 4046M. The 4044R had the fuel fill cap on the left rear fender. I did not see where the fuel tank was located.

Perhaps this one feature is not enough justify the cost of the trade. But as I get older filling the fuel tank on my 3720 that is in front of the steering wheel gets more and more difficult. I still use 6 gallon plastic containers and probably should convert to large overhead tank or a pump to deliver the fuel. I'm sure it would be much cheaper than the tractor trade. But the New Holland TC40D and DA tractors that I owned previously had the fuel tanks in the rear behind the seat and it was clearly more convenient to fill.

So I probably should retract my comment about the fuel tank relocation as a reason to trade. I still think it is a good idea to lessen the fuel spillage on the tractor hood but it may not be worth the $10-15,000 to trade.

I'm going to bet the under hood tank as been relocated on the 4r and 3r series tractors. Needing more room for the tier 4 emissions and possible higher engine heat under the hood. Just my 2 cents....

Definitely a good looking machine. Are those factory installed rear wheel spacers? Any under hood pictures?

Hate to say it but the pictures of the interior controls look cheesy to me. Vinyl seat on a cab tractor? No armrests? should reserve judgement but my 07 4720 looks good-except for the dumb -ss parking brake control-which I modified to the upgrade kit and that is less than good.
rear axle? What is this- a garden tractor?

It looks from the pictures that the cab gets a cloth seat, but I do agree the open station seat should have arm rests. I think it looks like a very good machine though. what is wrong with the rear axel?
