I know this sounds like I'm being a jokers, but....
If you mount them on your head, (or a hardhat) 1) they're always pointing where you're looking. 2) It's get's them up high w/o fabing a ROPS.

Mine flood pretty well. No issue at all. 4 qty 27watt units on my ROPS. You can angle them any direction you want. I have two facing forward and two rearward tilting down a bit for BH work.

Maybe some sturdy but removable posts with electrical disconnects if you don't need them regularly??? Just thinking out loud here... Don't know your situation. Still say you want them above your head if possible.
