Hello All,
I'm a new R3039 owner but did lots of research here before I pulled the trigger and purchased it. Thanks for all the wisdom, advise, comments, etc... So far I'm pretty happy with it but right off I noticed a few things. I need a toolbox and want to replace the cupholder on the right fender with a handle like what is on the left fender. I should be able to get the handle from the dealer but I don't think LS offers a toolbox. New Holland offers a toolbox and mounting plate for the Boomer 35 that I think would work but before I spent the money I wanted to check with you guys first. I would hate to reinvent the wheel if this issue has already been resolved. Thanks

Congrats on the new tractor, and welcome to the forum. Someone here got a tool box from New Holland, and it was a perfect fit.

I'm a very happy R3039H owner too.

I'll be watching this thread for the tool box solution. I'm a vertically challenged 5'7", so a tool box behind the fuel tank won't work. I'm straining to see the 3 pt hitch over the tank as it is!

Well, It took me forever to find the time but this is what I came up with for a toolbox. I'm not super happy with the actual toolbox itself but I like the location and mount. It does obstruct your visibility to the 3 point hitch just a little but no where near as bad as trying to look over your left shoulder through the slow moving vehicle sign.

A box a little taller would be nice. What do you put in your box?

Congrats on the new tractor, I took off the right step and put a toolbox on.

Murph- I agree. The toolbox was advertised as a New Holland on Amazon so I figured at least it would be the correct color. The color is close enough but the box is a little on the small side. I usually just keep a few tools, pins and a rag in it.

Bob77064- I considered ditching the step for the toolbox but I am lazy and enter the tractor on both sides so I don't have to walk around:)

Now if I can just finish up the bucket grapple project this weekend I'll be set.

The left step is a little easier to use and the toolbox is a good height.

I built my own step box, here is a picture. Not the same tractor though but it could be sized accordingly.20140117_140203.jpg
