As long as it doesn't use exhaust fluid, I don't think it matters to me either way. I remember when it was a joke to ask people if they'd checked their muffler fluid...

It matters trust me. You have to run them a certain way, they have to be loaded to a certain %, you cant let them idle only so long. And you get the added bonus of paying more for more problems. To your original question, buy the most HP you can afford. I wish mine was a DK60, that would be just about perfect. I will occasionally lug mine down chained up pushing/stacking snow in medium range and digging in dirt in low range. I am picking up [finally] a 7' twin auger blower today so we will see how the 38 HP PTO works with that. More HP is a good thing. CJ

Lug down to the point where it stalls out? I expect a full report on that snow blower!!

I've got the DK50SE HST Cab and I like it a lot. Mine also has the stiff throttle, and I've been intending to lube mine up too.

If you buy one, be sure and get an extra set of rear remotes. I've got two sets and I wish I had three because I use one set for my grapple, and the second set for the hydraulic rippers on my box blade. I'd like a third set for a hydraulic top link.

Seeing as there is no 3rd OEM rear remote valve, are you talking about getting another 2nd remote and modifying to be a 3 valve set??? :confused3: That would be VERY  It is easy to do with a diverter valve, but to actually have an OEM type 3rd set would be soooooooooooooooo nice.

Well Actually I was going to use a Fasse stackable Diverter valve. So he could add more if he wanted later.

Yep, pretty slick.. 4 remotes in a jiffy, All neatly controlled by a single rotary switch, and your existing SCV.

Actually there are 3 separate switches in the control grip on the OEM control lever. ;)

You could do that, but why would you need them on the joystick or the SCV lever. , I would think dash mounted would suffice and save the money of the fancy control knob.
