As long as it doesn't use exhaust fluid, I don't think it matters to me either way. I remember when it was a joke to ask people if they'd checked their muffler fluid...
It matters trust me. You have to run them a certain way, they have to be loaded to a certain %, you cant let them idle only so long. And you get the added bonus of paying more for more problems. To your original question, buy the most HP you can afford. I wish mine was a DK60, that would be just about perfect. I will occasionally lug mine down chained up pushing/stacking snow in medium range and digging in dirt in low range. I am picking up [finally] a 7' twin auger blower today so we will see how the 38 HP PTO works with that. More HP is a good thing. CJ
