I just bought a John Deere 3032e. I have a woods bh 6000 backhoe from my old tractor. I was wondering if I could build a sub frame that would work on that John Deere or would I be better off to turn the Backhoe into a trailer or towable deal I can hook up to the 3pt hitch. I understand that the John Deere 3032e series have aluminum rear housings and thats why they don;t offer a BH for those models. Thanks Matt

Have you called Woods 1-800-319-6637 to find out if they make a sub-frame for a BH6000/JD 3032e?

All of the JD CUTs except rhe 4x20s have alluminum rear castings. I would avoid a 3 point mounted hoe.

Woods has a 4 point sub-frame # 1035925 & hose kit # 1035949 for use with the 3032e & a BH70-X Woods backhoe. I don't know if that would have a potential for use with a BH 6000 or not. The sub-frame attachment points are on the ROP bracket & 305 loader mast base. A sub-frame reinforcement structure surrounds the axle.

The installation manual for the sub-frame can be found on-line if you want to take a look. It might give you some perspective on whats involved.

Are you sure about that? I thought the 3x20s were iron. I know my 790 is iron.

Thanks everyone - I may turn the woods bh 6000 into a towable backhoe/trencher not sure yet. All I'll have to do is built a small platform with 2 wheels/tires and built a hitch to hook up to the draw bar. It would be easier to hookup and unhook then mounting a sub mount anyway. I have the material and the tools to do that. I have in mind building it similar to the DR towable backhoe. I'm not looking at digging footers for a house just a hoe that can clean ditches and clean the creek out 2 times a year. Thanks Matt

Yes, I'm sure, but I should have qualified my answer a little bettter....The 102x's are aluminum, and the 2xxx's, and the 3x20's. I don't know about the older ones.
