Nothing fancy like a lot of you have but I am stoked. I have chains front and rear on my MF gc2400, about 400 lb of concrete ballast on the 3ph and a 5 foot blade that hooks on the front of the frame that uses the front end loader hydro. to lift and angle. That and my head cab (read motor cycle helmet ) and I am as ready as I know how to get. Sorry no pics. as I have no camera.

let it snow..i've got not one but two,yes two honda rt5000 4wd-4ws tractors, the one with the blade just has a canopy and windshield, the one with the blower has a home-made enclosed cab made from wood, heavy cardboard and heavy plastic.puts on/comes off in minutes..both have wheel weights, chains, aux.lights (the headlights are bright but just don't cut it in a snowstorm!) and rotating/blinking/flashing amber lights.'cause i live on a busy road
i also have the mid mount mower, three point hitch and brush hog mower which all will interchange on either.(now i'm just bragging, lol).but they don't do much for moving snow.HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!SNOW AND TRACTORS 004.JPG

Buckets work fine...maybe a QA plow would be a nice addition sometime if you get enough snow most winters.
Some guys don't care for just using the bucket...worked for me for several years even when we got heavy snows (in south central PA) and snow removal implements are costly...especially if you have little need for them.

Thanks Roy we just don't get too much snow, I know it's much better than me having to shovel.

Using a bucket may take you more time then using a plow...but operating the tractor is fun, right? Do ensure you have adequate ballast on the 3PH and you're dressed for the work.

I never had enough drive to use a blower. I've thought about a plow now and then, but never found a good deal.
I do have a plow now, but it's for my Gator. I got a really good deal on a used Eagle Plow which should take care of snows up to about a foot or a bit more. If it's too much for the Gator, then the Deere and bucket go to work.

Toxic, is that a serrated cutting edge on your plow? Never saw one before; guess I don't keep up with progress. Is it good on the sled trails? How about a gravel drive, do you think. Looks real competent anyway. Nice.

Just finish welding today! Its a converted Moose 6 foot UTV plow with FEL attach. Now has hydraulic angle. I didnt want to have to remove my fork carriage every time I plow like I use to do with my old Meyers plow and dedicated FEL bracket. This time I drilled 2 holes in the bottom rail of the carriage and bolted the plow bracket on with T. nuts.

Nice looking 955, Mechanos...

Do you really get enough snow in Missouri for a blower?

Never can tell here. Last year we got 30 to 36 inches. The year before last we got about 1". A couple years back we had back to back 38" and 45" years. I have a 49" thrower for my 322 that has worked well for me in the past, but at the tail end of last winter, I came across a screaming deal on the 59" blower that I just couldn't pass up. It's just another weapon in the arsenal... 49" thrower & 54" blade for the garden tractor and the 59" blower for the CUT.
