It was not that heavy, and the tires are loaded. When I get to my walnut stump, that will be another issue. I will just have to push that one across the ground. You should have some weight on that 3 Point Hitch.

Much as it pains me to say so, Murph is right about wanting something beyond loaded tires for ballast. Maybe not so much for that particular stump but definitely for counterbalance in general. It's not when you think you need it so much as when you think you don't and actually do, only to realize it too late.Oaky Doaky. But if it were mine I'd have at least 500# back there.

What is the ground where you are? Looks like soft clay? Man that looks like easy digging?!
That is some hard clay with a taste of rock. My new teeth on my bucket seem to be holding up.What is the ground where you are? Looks like soft clay? Man that looks like easy digging?!
Why does it pains you?
It's a joke, Murph, just seeing if you're paying attention![]()
What/How are you guys getting hooks on your bucket?
As far as ballast goes, I always leave at least my cutter on mine and have the calcium filled tires...

I like it. I made my own, because my tractor is small and the lifting capacity is only 1900lbs. Yea, but size don't matter.Just weld them on,, They are locally available at farm supply stores, or can be ordered over the internet. It just takes a few minutes even with a stick welder. Some 1/8 7018 at about 125 amps works for me.
