It was not that heavy, and the tires are loaded. When I get to my walnut stump, that will be another issue. I will just have to push that one across the ground.

Much as it pains me to say so, Murph is right about wanting something beyond loaded tires for ballast. Maybe not so much for that particular stump but definitely for counterbalance in general. It's not when you think you need it so much as when you think you don't and actually do, only to realize it too late.
What is the ground where you are? Looks like soft clay? Man that looks like easy digging?!

That is some hard clay with a taste of rock. My new teeth on my bucket seem to be holding up.
I do use my box blade most of the time as a counter weight. This was a light Popular stump in a tight place on level ground. All is well. But keep the advice coming. I have been know to do some stupid stuff.:confused2: If you hear me say "watch this", you had better get low! :laughing:
