Pretty overcast this am, but supposedldy, no rain. Need to mow and start some chores. Long day, I think,

I went to a BBQ with acouple of buddies at my first "home away from home"... It was nice.

Today I need to move my Harley's to my new residence, and I need to move my truck to a friend's (plus it needs safety inspection).

I then MAYBE will get a short bit of seat time moving scrap hay bales out of the way and moving many of my attachments into the "barn" metal shed where I park the tractor. I need to do a service on it so I won't use it too much. But it will be amazing to get some seat time...

Then later today I will take my big girls bowling and out to dinner.

It's 73 F out with a nice breeze. I just left a message for my Air Conditioning guy to come fix my central air. It quit at 2 AM. Seems to be a start/run capacitor. For now, doors/windows open and ceiling fans make it very comfortable, but with 101 F predicted this afternoon, I may spend a lot of time in my basement game room with separate AC if the repairman is delayed in coming.

Headed toward 80* today with possible showers all weekend.

Good morning all. Yesterday hit 100F HI has been running 5-6F and the wife and I were out mowing in it :thumbdown: Today its 87F going to 98F. So Drew I can imagine what 103 is like . Chores today to trip to Bull Shoals Lake, boat is feeling neglected maybe in a couple of weeks.

Jim - It is a racket......A capacitor costs around $14.00 on line...When mine went out my HVAC guy charged my $225.00....Service call, labor and markup on the part is what his Tech. said when I pointed out to him a capacitor was only $20...he corrected me and said ..No, actually we only pay $14 for the capacitor.......Ugggggggg ! Let me know if he charges you as much as my guy charged me...

Good morning. 1100, cloudy, 82* with 85% humidity. Forecast high of 91* with 40% chance of thunderstorms. Should be an easy day at work. I got in early and set up tables and chairs for a family reunion. After they are through, I will take down and clean up, then I'm done for the day.

Had a full day of mowing yesterday. Did all 6 1/2 acres in the front with the RFM and 3930. After supper did the acre of dog yard behind the house with the Husqvarna rider. It was good dark when I finished, and the approaching thunderstorm was giving me a great light show. I finished before the rain started, but didn't get to clean the grass and dirt off the deck. I'll have to remember to do it before I mow again.
