Was foggy here this morning but cleared up now and supposed to hit 84.
Here is a photo of the paving equip: 2 rollers, a chip spreader, a wheel loader, and a chip brush/blade used to smooth out the chips before the tar truck makes a pass. I told the supervisor that they could use my frontage to park equipment because the ROW is too narrow. Chip and tar is probably not as good as asphalt, but on our low-traffic road, it should be fine by stopping the dust and giving us a very smooth surface with no washboarding or potholes.

We have chip and tar and it's an excellent road surface that I actually prefer over blacktop. Once the surface settles down in a couple of weeks it's dust and stone free and a pleasure to drive on.
