just looked North on the radar, wow, what a mess. 1 to 2 inches of rain predicted for PA, well that's 7-14 inches of snow.

33 here this morning and rain...a bit cooler and we could be joining you guys with snow...but no blower or plow here...just use the FEL on the few occasions when it gets deep enough to need it.

Should get up to 43 but more rain. We are plenty wet here.

Cut the Christmas tree and put in the house yesterday. Will start stringing lights after getting back from running errands and hitting the gym in town. Been fun watching our young dog with her first tree in the house. So far mostly interested in drinking the water from the stand.

26F now low 30's for high,weather station saying 3-5 inches snow but if colder air wins out 6-12 inches still mix w/rain,anyway you look at it not going to be powder plowing...looks like the roof rake will be tested again.

When out and about be careful stay safe.

20F. Flurries this morning, heavy snow this afternoon is the forecast.

The RAM 3500 has an 8am appointment to (finally, about 18 months after the recall was issued) do the recall on the left front steering part. What's funny is Saturday I got another recall notice in the mail for some connector on the fuel heater may melt, but no parts are available for that recall yet either. I'll get off one recall to-do list at the dealer and onto another.

wngsprd our dog's happy tails can strip about anything off the Christmas tree with one swipe. Sharon went to the dark side last year and bought a small table-top fake tree. I never thought we would have a plastic tree, but I'm not the decorator, so ... They don't take much water. :laughing:

I sure haven't done much prep for Christmas. I need to do some shopping. I usually check out the offerings at the local artisans gallery store first and shift to desperation mode if that doesn't work.

Mid 20's this morning and rising to around 36°. The steep driveway has a 1/4" of ice and we're due to get 6" later today.

Ran to TSC last night and picked up a rear grader blade to scrape the private gravel road leading up to my driveway. I mounted it and will be ready for this continuous mess we are getting.

Good Morning. 1040,sunny, 55F with 70% humidity. Forecast high of 61F with 0% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 35F tonight. A little warmer than yesterday, but we do have a 10-12 mph north wind.

Got my full cardio done this morning for the first time in a few days. Now got to hit the shower and off to town to do the week's shopping. Not looking forward to the crowds.

65°F and no rain last 24 hours.

Rather pleased with the outcome of my fence installation. Something of a hybrid approach given this was an out of budget project. 4ft chainlink fabric (from HD) using wooden posts and T posts that I had on hand and a 6ft people/small equipment gate up at the driveway that T bones into the two existing 12 ft gates that service each entrance. Of course that concrete drive slopes 3 directions without thought to having 3rd gate when installed. Maybe I should get a couple of pics later.
Now the dogs have freedom to run again and the cottage tenants can come and go without concern for the dogs being at the gate.

Sounds like too many of you getting too much snow.

Talked to the HVAC guys yesterday ... gas valve is ordered and coming directly from the factory. Of course they don't actually have a tracking number for the shipment ...

They said to expect it probably Thursday or Friday. Luckily the temps are pretty mild right now, so the wood burner has no problem keeping up.

Picked up the hydraulic fittings yesterday and a start collar and a 1' section of 16" round duct to finish plumbing the wood burner to the main duct work. Now I just need some sheet metal to cover the top of the wood burner to mount it all to ...

Good afternoon 38 degrees with heavy rain and wind all day. Predictions of 2 to 3 inches before it is over. Woke to 28 degrees this morning and black ice with no highway sanders out, arrived at work there were 38 ice related accidents waiting for my shift to start with more happening. Glad to be home now. Made a pot of sauce have meatballs and sausage ready to go in.

Just when I get to thinking seriously about retirement I read something like this.I guess the 38 accidents, rain and cold aren't that bad!
