Is the set that is supplied by a 3rd party to Kubota for your tractor integrated into the tractor? No, it hangs off of the ROPS doesn't it? Yes you would have been better off to do the whole thing yourself. In your case, yes a person can be better off money wise doing the whole setup themselves rather than using the "Kubota kit" .
Go to the Grand L or the M series tractors and this is not the case. And I still think that unless the dealer did aftermarket sets all the time, it is still going to take more time, just because they would have to work with the unknown just as you would. They have to track everything down, measure for this, that and the other thing. It all takes time. no one wants to work for nothing.
