Thanks Jason. Brian will sure appreciate that! Thanks for posting. Hope all is well across the pond
Hey Paul I was just watching a couple of your videos with the Kubota plowing, mainly because I have a Grand L cab also.
How are you going to be able to give up plowing? all the work, all the lights, etc. The video's show your excited to plow and can't wait for a big storm to come. Like you said in a video for a guy with a tractor it's like a vacation or something to that affect.
I think you should bid on the contracts and then sublet the plowing over the holidays when your want to be away. Your going to be one sorry sap sitting in your tractor with nothing to plow but your driveway and maybe a neighbor or two. You been doing it for 25 years, you finally got your tractor set up the way you want it. Bid now with no regrets , or regret it later this December. Just my 3 cents
For the very little plowing I do, it does gets boring really fast. So I hear what you're saying. You'll finally be free to do what you want on a snowy day.
:thumbsup:I checked out your new website 4shorts,it looks fantastic and bookmarking goes without saying. Congratulations and like everything you do it always very professional & high quality.
The best of luck to you and the misses.:thumbsup: Dan.

... Coincidentally I got asked to take on a much bigger snow clearing contract than I had in the past. If I take it, it might mean a bigger tractor

If you were to take this contract, any idea of horsepower or Kubota model number that you would be thinking about?
Think of the Mods you could do to this:licking: It's a three stepper. Leds on each step :thumbsup:If you get this I'm calling you the ModMan:thumbsup:
Yeah baby! And I am putzing around with a little BX... as Maxwell Smart used to say, "And, loving it!"It can get boring for sure. It can also be dangerous being out in snowstorms but with the lights flashing, the heat on bust and the tunes playing a lot of snow can get pushed. Ahh forget that start enjoying your winters.IF I were to seriously consider the contract I might step outside the idea of a "tractor" and lease one of these with a snow push. I could then use the 5740 with an expandable snow push for the smaller areas. I spent any years plowing snow with the Cat 966C, 966D and the Cat 988 and they will move ANYTHING with ease when it comes to snow.

You might not believe this but out of all the toys I own I consider the BX25D the most valuable and the most enjoyable and rewarding to have. It's just so handy to have around so I'm really happy to hear your enjoying yours
