4shorts- good to see your back. I enjoy watching your mods not only for ideas for my 5240 but also the excellent craftsmanship is nice to see.

Nice to see your thread at the top of the list again Paul, it was getting mighty boring here on TBN without you.

Agreed. Glad to see you back on-line Paul. Can't wait to see what you have in-store for us on Monday.

Also, well stated in your message. Personally, I have always enjoyed reading your thread and I'm thankful you've shared your work with us.

Thanks. Glad you've enjoyed it all. The 5240 is the perfect size tractor hey. What are you using it for? Any photos. Post them here. We could use a few photos.

Thanks guys much appreciated. I had to take a break from it all. Some of the things I was accused of was ridiculous like posting my BX mods in the Kubota Owning/Operating section because there were more hits. Good lord. I don't get paid for hits but wish I did :confused3: plus the BX25D is a Kubota :confused3: plus I had plenty of operating photos :confused3:

I'm not one to back away from anything. Dad used to say I'd face the devil and I'm that way. My two sons always tell their mother " if dads pi$$ed don't let him at the keyboard"
Right again so that's why I didn't post

Yes, 4shorts, your wife got an AWESOME anniversary gift! I just hope y'all take the time to drive and enjoy it this summer.

And the grand dogs sleeping, looks about like mine around here. Nothing as relaxing as "belly up". Only thing that disturbs them when they are in that position, is FOOD.

I agree we stuck up for him long enough, Whats the story? Paul started in the customization section but at any given time there are only 23 people viewing that section, he then moved to Kubota Owning an Operating- 300 + viewing at any giving time. And I understand why he did that, If I'm going to go thru all that work I want people to see it.

So there may be a lot of people in this section that just aren't interested in customizing their tractor. And that is OK, But in that section there are many more views, and less comments. So you can't blame some people for not being interested "it's in the wrong section" I think most do not comment out of respect. So this might explain you can have 80,000 views without many comments. Paul needs his own TV show. He seems to do well in his videos explaining and commentating, it's his calling.
I for one like his videos very much. I watched them all. (more then once) But when he made his latest video private thats when I bailed out.
I was explaining why I thought there was so many views and not many comments as you were complaining about. The reason you gave for quitting the thread. No one was posting. That was my opinion, if your going to do all that work post where there is the most views, Makes sense to me. If it wasn't your opinion it should be.
Yes it's still a Kubota but the people that are mostly looking for Mods go to customizing. So most people that viewed your thread clicked it on and didn't comment. I thought I was giving you some sort of comfort for the lack of comments.

I don't think you have to go back and nit pick all the comments made about you. Do you?

I also want to add this was posted after you pulled all of your video's, I watch your videos and that was a blow to me. You were mysterious in your actions we were all wondering what was going on. You should not come on now and try and put down or point out the people who were posting about you , just drop it and move on good buddy. What was said was said,I believe for the most part I stood by you as many many others. But just like life, it's not all gravy, all the time. Like what I think of those hooks inside your bucket :) I'm like you in many ways I say what I mean, except went written could mean anything.

For every action there is a reaction so I'm now defending myself. Nothing more, nothing less. You had your say then be polite enough to let me have my say then Its done. The ship has sailed. I must have struck a nerve. I don't owe anyone anything and vice versa. There was much more to this thread than mods that and only that was why I posted in this section. I knew once the mods were completed the land work would be done and the operating photos would come into play and that happened did it not?

You guys had your 20.000 chances to pick at me since I stopped posting so let me have just three or four. You stated your opinion and I did the same . As I said, nothing more, nothing less. For those who don't agree I'm ok with that, just ignore any of my posts and for the few that enjoyed my threads then they will tune in.

Oh. Incidentally. I pulled the YouTube video's for a few days to work out copyright issues. I still have two (none tractor) related to work out

Use it for general maintenance around our 17 acres, snow removal, grass mowing, brush hogging, loader work, backhoe work, and hopefully next year I will be bailing my own hay with it. Here are a couple pictures.

Paul I am glad that your back on TNB, I quit following this thread when the comments towards you got defensive. Myself have only posted one reply to your work but like many others can hardly wait to get on and see what you have posted that day. Today is the first time that I have even been on the site since the rude a** people started with the negative comments after ALL of the amazing work that you have taken time to share with all of us. I can say that I will be waiting Monday to see what you have for us. I am sorry for the negative comments that some have posted, I'm glad that there are people in the world with your skills and also that you are willing to share them with us. I hope that you and Ms. 4shorts are doing well.....

Hey letsmowone,I think I am one of the rude a** people that you are referring to.If so,it is Mr.rude a**. If you are going to drag down a public forum by calling some members derogatory names you should at least get it right. As far as this post goes I find that 4shorts is a very talented fabricator and does really nice work.It is easily in the top five% of what I see on here and certainly much better than anything I am capable of.I just don't always agree with the way he presents it,but he is never going to please everyone.I just expressed my opinion on it a few times, which is my right.Have a nice day.

As I'm looking at your photos and seeing the snow on the ground in your first photo I'm wishing it was like that here. Its 31c here now and the humity is terrible.
Nice looking machine. Capable of doing a lot of work. Looks like to keep it in good order too. I like that  thanks for posting the photos. Really enjoyed seeing them.

Hey I'm glad your back too  Thanks for your kind words on our work as well.

This thread has been a real eye opener for me. I never thought a thread that was the topic of a tractor and a small one at that could turn people into the things I've witnessed on here. I might take my work seriously but some are even worst when it comes to the thread itself.

I'm also disappointed that fellow Canadian's would act that way is even more surprising and again, over a tractor thread. Wonder how these people handle a real serious issue :confused3: I'll have to apologize to you because if not for me starting this mess of a thread you would not have had to whiteness this so please except my apologizes. Hey but let's look at this on the positive side. This thread brought out some great members as well. Actually they were the large majority so that's cool :cool2:

Thanks for your posts. Enjoyed reading them and my wife and myself is doing just great and thanks for mentioning it. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Great stuff.

If anyone can actually remember what this thread is about you'll remember we have a BX25D. Well here's the new stable for the BX and it's attachments. It's 14X20.

If anyone can actually remember what this thread is about <snip>QUOTE]

This thread is about 2 really neat tractors, a car, Beagles, and a very talented, hard working guy and his equally talented and hard working wife, and the totally cool mods they share! :D (Now, if I could just get y'all to do something in green!)

 Your to kind although my favorite part of the thread was chatting about the beagles  Hey I love green tractors. I was telling our buddy Matt one time that if John Deere had a dealership here I bet I would have all green but no dealer and no regret with the Bota either so it worked out but I still love the Deere's.

Did I miss the thread where mods on the zero turn were posted? I noticed the LED light bar and figure that is one of the things that would identify as belonging to 4shorts!

I was wondering why you went gas instead of diesel on the ZTR? I bought a ZTR a few years ago and wished I could have bought a Kubota diesel (same size as yours) with the John Deere deck. I think the JD deck is hard to beat, so ended up with the Z720A with a 54" deck. It cuts very nicely!
