wheel spacers for BX25?

I just installed Bro-Tek 1-1/2" on the front and 2" spacers on the rear. The Bro-Tek spacers are solid machined aluminum and very, very nice. A couple pictures so you can see the difference on the offset.

Stock setup.

I have a 54" MMM on my BX25 and the 1.5" just barely cleared the right anti-scalp wheel when the deck is lifted, I don't think the 2" would clear for me.

You definitely aren't going to spin those puppies 90 degrees for removal!! That's a tight fit!!

They specify them as only working with the 60MMM, so I have them on my 2660 with 60MMM but never installed them on my 2200 with 54MMM

I just put 2" Bro-Tek on my wife's BX2660, also have them on her BX2200, no problems with the 60" deck; very good service with Bro-Tek.

Yes there was no guarantee that it would work, but we gave it a try, and it just makes it. Only by a little bit, but by enough. There is plenty of room on the other side, no issues there. Maybe it will not work for another person with the same tractor and deck depending on deck adjustments or other variables and differences.

FYI. There also 1.25" wheel spacers avalaible for the Rear or front axle, these will clear any size of MMM

Can ya'll tell a difference in stability on uneven ground? If so can ya give me a number from 1-10 with 1 being stock.

I've got a BX2230 with turfs. I have no spacers. But my tires extend beyond the fenders almost as far as the pictures I've seen of R4's with spacers, most recently 4shorts incredible mod'ing thread. I have the 60 inch mower and I have to drop the mower about 1/2 way just to get enough clearance to get the pin inserted. If the guide wheel is already turned and I don't change it, it rides up the outside of the rear tire. I'd love to put a spacer on, but there is just no way I have enough room to do it. Are turfs that much wider than R4's?

It's really hard to quantify, but it was noticeable enough on our BX2200 to buy them for the BX2660 and John Deere 2305. My son did an informal test by parking on our backyard slope and pushing on the ROPS before and after; LOT harder to lift an uphill tire after.

It sure looks like it from post #4.

Thanks TripleR, I've been kicking it around for some time. I have a BX23TLB and recently closed on some hilly, rocky, wooded mountainous land, and I feel very limited on access in many areas. I'm always up there alone and do various methods to keep a low center, (booming the BH uphill, and a few outrigger tricks when I feel real uncomfortable, but trees and rocks create another issue then), but I don't like doing it and its only when I really feel I have too.

I wonder if they increased the axle widths on any of the later versions?

I just ordered them, front and rear. Are they hard to install? I'm gonna have to do it in the field. I think I need a 20 MM and 19MM socket and extension, and a jack stand. Can ya think of anything else?

Well, it was incredibly easy for me, my son installed ours. :) I did get a detailed report on it and the only thing else I can think of is Locktite, we also always use a torque wrench, but not everyone does. The instructions are pretty good.

And here is min BX2230 with stock turfs. Either the fender design has changed or turfs are much wider than R4's.

Hi RaydaKub
what's the width of the rear end, I think standard its 44 inches. I installed 2" spacers with a 60" deck and plenty of clearance left.

   / wheel spacers for BX25? #18
Yeah, they are 44 inches. But with my mower, there's no way I could use a spacer on the left side and still manipulate the gauge wheel. Right side I could easily use 2", maybe even 3". Now, I know my mower was dinged pretty good at some point. The right front gauge wheel is bent down and in just a touch. But I don't see any way that that would affect how it hangs and attaches. The linkage isn't bent at all. I'll try to remember to snap a pic of it when I put it back on (maybe even tomorrow).

They sure look wider than my Industrial or Bar tires.

Looking to put wheel spacers on my BX25.

I thought Bro-Tek sold spacers, but I don't see any on their website.

Anybody have any experience with these, from "The Tracks Company"?

Kubota John Deere Compact Tractor Utility Vehicle Wheel Spacers

Their photos and info look good, but I don't recall any discussion or threads here on these?

I bought two 4" rear-wheel spacers from The Tracks Company for our L3800 Kubota. The service and product are very good, IMO. And they added significantly to the stability of our L3800. My only regret is that I didn't buy 6" spacers.
