Had the "V" about 24 hours ago. Taking it easy- bag of frozen peas and rest.

I did that about 30-35 years ago. Doc told me to rest for several days. I figured I'd rather save my vacation time for fishing or hunting, so I went to work. Got around ok, just a bit slow for a while.

Ouch! Actually, I am a member of the "V" club as well. Happened in 1982, dont really remember much except that in 4 weeks you need to "provide" a test sample to verify success. LOL Keep the faith!

Discomfort for a few weeks, more of an unsettled feeling than actual pain. I don't think most experience that, at least for as long. The actual pain was minor and short-lived. Congratulations and welcome to the club.

Had a friend that had three to clip. I was a miracle that the doctor discovered it. If he hadn't, it might have caused a surprise later.

I don't want to talk about it.:laughing: I had quite a bit of hemotoma, and unwelcome swelling. It was all so long ago, and just a distant memory. But it does relieve anxiety about impregnating your wife.:thumbsup: You will heal, and all will be fine.

Don't know if it will help, but my physical therapist had me put two parts water, 1 part rubbing alcohol (90+ proof) inside a zip lock bag, then put that in another zip lock bag and make a cold pack for my back. It works great as it freezes slushy and can be molded to where it needs to go. Just be sure to put a towel or something between it and your skin.

When I had mine, the doc says "you are going to feel a poke...well more like a little sting...ah h$ll, who am I kidding - this is gonna feel like a rattlesnake bite".

And he was right!

I had mine done in the late 80's. Doc said this injection will feel like a mosquito bite. I'll tell you, that was the biggest F'in mosquito I'd ever felt.
Then two days later I was swelled pretty bad where he stitched up the outside and it was really hurting. So I got out the tweezers and cuticle scissors and took out the stitches. Felt great after that, but my eyes were watering while I was doing it.
