Tractor
2013 Kubota B3200HSD
Thanks for all the help by TBN users in helping me decide how to spend my money. I dropped the check off today and checked in on the new tractor. They had it all dolled up inside the shop with the new factory 60inch MMM, rears loaded and rear remotes installed. I asked what they would charge for a hook welded to the loader bucket and a reinforcing plate and they said "no-charge, it will be done today". The salesman (Bill) is coming out himself for delivery tomorrow and he is even doing it after hours so I don't have to take time off work. Can't wait to get it home in the garage. It's going to stink taking it out and getting it all dirty but that's what I got it for. I have some firewood to cut up and move to the house in the next week or so and it's muddy due to the recent thaw. Pictures soon to come!

LOL!!! Congratulations on your new Orange Toy. I would love to be a fly on the wall when that tractor starts getting that mud thrown up on it. I know I couldn't stand it and washed mine up before I parked it back in the garage. My wife just laughed at me and told me "its a tractor ....that's what its for" and I would reply "Your right but I cant stand it, so its gonna look good at the end of the day!" . Have fun on it!

So here it is in all it's glory. Took off the MMM as I won't be needing that for about 4 months.

If I get it stuck up to the axles in mud I don't think I'll be in the right frame of mind to grab my camera. I did take it around the property a couple days ago in search of some firewood and it went right through all the muddy areas without even trying. I'm used to turf tires so these industrials with loaded rears are a new experience for me. Very impressed so far to say the least. Gotta go plow out the driveway right now we got about 4 inches of white stuff last night.

I wish my tractor would fit in the garage... of course I don't have a garage at the farm... but if I did...

Congrats on the new tractor!

I understand completely. Whenever I have bad luck like getting stuck (and I mean really stuck), the last thing I think of is "Hey, I should get a picture of this!" I haven't done it this winter (at least not yet) but last year I had the front wheels completely out of sight in mud (it was more like quicksand really). Luckily the rears never got deeper than rim depth so I was able to "walk" it out a foot at a time using 4X4 and the FEL. I had to push myself out about 40 yards before the ground became solid enough to climb up out of the muck. What fun!!!!

Keith, you can probably relate, my place is near Rock Island so I wouldn't be surprised if we have the same kind of soil.

Got er nice and muddy several times. Just a quick hose off and she looks great again. Gave her a good bath before winter, cant wait to get dirty again here soon.
