or at least the Vermont Casting arts to repair my grill :)
Oh good! Now you can ship out all those Vermont Castings stoves you promised all of us for Christmas.

;):D Glad you made it and everything is coming together. I figure I'm too old to ever move again. They'll just have to drag my carcass out into a ditch and bury me here some day.

was 17 degrees when I got up this morning, having a problem with the IPAD app so I am back on the regular computer. Seem to happen yesterday and when I reset it I could not get to the write portion of the application. Gee life is tough for older folk. Dave when does that deer season end for you guys? We are on the last of it and it is only bow hunting now. Another good year for the deer as far as my hunting goes LOL. Oh and take it easy on that money issue??guess you need to do what you have to do just know it will look great!

I think they did n upgrade of the app (ver 1.6) now part of screen is dead. Sorry for being so late with this post just started catching up on my reading.

Banana pancakes this morning.

Can you tell you has a big bunch hanging and ripening :)

You must be a sadist talking about banana pancakes and big bunch of banana ripening in Hawaii.
We have sustained 60 mph wind, it is cold, snow is blowing horizontal, my PV panels are totally encased in ice. I will have to use my tractor to dig us out out of snow tomorrow morning. We can just dream about nice and balmy Hawaii.
Happy holidays.

So much for sunshine, almost another half inch since I posted this morning and still coming down.

Checked out the Deere 25a flail with my friend. Bait frozen, unable to turn gearbox by hand (has been sitting in barn for 3 years). Offered $500 for it and guy accepted after thinking about it.

Well, it's either the end of the world today....or the end of the week at least.
32 degrees and snowing right now. Got about an inch or so on the porch. Should be turning to rain in a bit.

Biggest drag about the place we're renting is there's no place to park the Deere inside...bummer, and it's one reason we won't be buying this place.
I do have the block heater plugged in at the tractor. The cable will probably stay rigged until warmer weather.

The prediction for the weekend is cold!!! As in low single digits!! I LOVE it!!!

Power just came back on, no Matans in sight, must be the 50 mph winds causing it!

Well, it's either the end of the world today....or the end of the week at least.

Well said Roy!

My suspicion is it is just another Friday...

49 headed to a high of 48 (thats what the weather says) it poured rain last night. I wonder what the hunting will be like this morning...

I'm almost completely done Christmas shopping, now the wrapping needs to begin ...

Be well all,
David

Drinking second cup of coffee. 32 degrees with light snow falling. Heading to 36 with winds and snow throughout the day. Off to my mothers today.
I read somewhere here on TBN that laying paver bricks can be a problem with high winds. :confused3: Looks like there will be some bricks left to be set when we get to TX later this next. That's OK, need to get a picture of the last brick being set in place.
Good Morning All.

Good Morning! 32˚now going to 63˚ with sunny skies and winds less than 5mph from the North.
You're right Ron, the wind with gust up to 40 mph was causing all sorts of problems laying pavers. Later in the day it calmed down to about 20 mph and I was able to work but took a beating. At the end of the day one knee was swollen and holes had wore through my glove and fingers bleeding. A couple bandaids and Advil and I'm anxiously awaiting sunrise to battle it again. I'm still on schedule to wrap this project up before next year.

There will be many cuts today as the driveway flares and connects to the circle.
