L-2900 trailering weight

I have been looking for a rough number as to what my L2900 weighs, as I am looking to purchase a trailer to move it with. Its a 1997(IIRC) 4x4 with loaded turf tires and a 480 FEL.

Any good guesses would be appreciated!!!

I don't know about the L2900 but here is the info about our L3800: tractor 2668 lbs, FEL 805, 4N1 bucket 450, loaded R4 tires about 660 total, and the heaviest attachment on the 3PH would be our 60" LandPride rotary mower at 600. So, in our case with the L3800, the maximum weight would be about 5200 lbs.

I am a tremendous fan of quality and overkill. I pulled the trigger on a BigTex 10pi for my BX2360. At most my tractor weights 2600# but i bought a trailer that will last as long as my tractor.
Quite frankly i invested in the ramp. Last trailer i used for landscaping i destroyed. Bent the ramp to high heck and springs went bad because to rear support when loading equipment on/off.

I would go with a 10k trailer that way if you get a bigger tractor it would work. According to tractor data it can weigh up to 2710, then for a rough estimate add 1200 for a loader and bucket that would be 3900 plus fluid maybe another 200 would be 4100. A trailer is 2000-2300. So with a tractor no implement you would be somewhere around 6000 plus chains, binders, and all the other junk you carry on a trailer. So a 7k should work but for the slight price increase I would go with a 10k unless you can find a good deal on a used 7k.
