I am not familair with your model but I have read that is very simialir to the GT-14 which there are a few members who have them. I don't think that is a powershift though with just Forward, Nuetral and Reverse...but if you search on GT-14 I am sure you will find some owners who you can PM.

DSC_0740.jpgit should have on the column, N-R which is down and 2 forward, 1 is the first notch and second is all the way forward. then you have 3 ranges I,II and III down to your right. that gives 3 reverse and 6 forward gears.mine also has powershft stickers on it.

i did find something on a sliding mechanical trans in the manual, maybe it has that being the 1 cylinder?

On the column shift it does have 2-1-N-R, but according to the parts manual both the Powershift and the gear-shift have the same shift pattern up there.

I found three things of note in the parts manual:
1) The YM14 shows POWERSHIFT stickers and the YM12 does not.
2) The Powershift transmission has a plug on the right side case near the back on the top. Appears to angle back about 45*
3) The Powershift transmission has a shift cable, and the gear-shift transmission has a solid shift linkage.

I know I don't have the Powershift stickers, but tomorrow when I have time I'll look for the plug as well as look at the shift linkage.

Thanks again for the help.

1) True
2) thats the trans filler plug
3)if thats the case it must have that sliding mechanical trans they talk about, i dont think the GT14 has that? i am sure they are powershift being the 2 cylinder.

Yanny Man has a few of them, but i havent seen him on here in a while.

I'm satisfied that this isn't a powershift. It has a mechanical linkage and it doesn't have the fill plug on the top corner of the transmission case.

Thanks all for the help.
