How small you talkin. I have a 4' x 8' wagon from Northern tool to put my hit and miss engine on. The wagon is rated at 2200lbs.

I've got the next to the smallest EZ-Trail that they make - the 260, with the wide (60") track .... have it set up as a 6' x 10'.

The gear is adjustable for length), with a wheelbase of 55" to 86" .... it's rated at 2 ton capacity:

It's a nice, well-built gear - think it was around a grand with shipping ....

I see in their Add, there are 3 tires on the ground and 1 on the tail gate of a pick-up.

Question, how do the stringers attach front to back to allow this much flexing?

You'd probably have to use some leaf springs that have a lot of articulation to them.

Yeah, I was just looking at some more info on their website and saw this:

Doesn't seem to make much sense to me to build something with that much articulation if you can't take advantage of it.

An ad on CL for two days and these two appeared. Can't beat the price... fifty dollars. They are a little beat up but stucturally fine. They will be flower or garden carts. Need new designs though.017.jpg

That would be the first time I made a profit on anything. Seems like I buy high and when sale time comes its not the right size, color, or model. The first one was a fun project bending the arches and planning the structure. I like cutting, bending, and fabricating with metal so I am searching the computer for additional designs. It just would not be the same with just boards and soil.

I make mobile hen houses out of old running gears. The biggest problem I find is that the tires are often dry rotted and leak air.

Yes tires are usually cooked in the sun if it was not used currently for hauling. I guess it is a consideration in the price. One of mine has a new yellow rim from a chopper or such. Probably cost more than the rest of the trailer. I have extra tires but I may look for some steel spoke rims. They would dress up a flower cart and never need any maint.
