This is a repost that i put in Rural living cause i could not find this forum after looking for a place like this to post it!

The new format looks updated and the reply box seems to have more options, but there are a few problems.

On my pc here at work when you click a forum like "rural living" the topics start a bit down the page, meaning you have to scroll through white till you get to the list of topics, then its way center justified with white on the left side of the screen? Why dont they fill the whole space?

Also when in a thread on my computer the join date appears superimposed over itself. If your date is June 1 2012 it looks like June is written over top of 1, 2012??

Then if i go to the drop down box at the bottom of a thread to change the forum im in, say i want to jump to the Yanmar board the drop down box appears behind the box at the bottom of the screen that has the related thread links in it,or behind the thread your reading replys, so you have a thin window that you can see your choices in to click as the rest are hidden behind the other boxes at the bottom.

I hope all this trouble is sorted out soon, makes me want to leave and start up on one of the other forums. First it was you cant access stuff in the mourning now its all jumbled up and i cant hardly figure stuff out. I just read a thread on how to jump to the unread messages in a thread you have clicked before. BUT myh problem is that the little blue arrow thing i need to click to jump is not visible on the treads i want to jump to, i see the reds on other ones not the blues, i have reloaded the page a few times and still dont see it, yet i go to another fourm and i see them???

GRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm not real fond of theperformance of the new format either. When I tried to access at work this noontime the page was not formatted in the normal way, but was "smushed" into a column about 2" wide- never had that issue before. The search function didn't seem to work.

I'm home now and the page reloads a bit better, but hoping it gets better!

You are automatically jumped to new posts now. We made that change based on a lot of members asking for us to go back to that old way.

Also when in a thread on my computer the join date appears superimposed over itself

We'll get that fixed.

Which browser are you using?

I am using IE. Im not sure how to tell which one though, i now its not the newest version but really dont know, it may be the second newest version?

Also can you fix the drop down box at the end of the threads where you can move forums. The one im talking about it the quick jump one. At the bottom of this thread click the drop down arrow that says News/feedback and then look at the box that appears with the lists of forums in it, its hidden behind the text of the thread as well as the box that has the similar thread links also.

I use an older version of Firefox, but that drop-down menu works fine for me.

Who knows? It does not work for me? Its kind of annoying as i use that function all the time, and i cant see the list. I can only see the whole list in the break between the text in the reply box and the box that makes up the "related thread" links box. Well i can see the whole right side but i can see the text as its hidden. I can hove my mouse on the right side and see the link address in the bottom of the ie window so i can click them like that but its not very handy for me.
